Our 100th board opening...
HELPING WOMEN GET TO THE TABLE

We are beyond thrilled to have notified our VIP Members to 100 open board seats over the last few years, and there are many reasons to be excited! Some of the reasons include:

1) These seats are a mix of public & private companies - large, medium & small

2) These seats have not only spanned across all industries but the skill-sets are just as varied

3) It advances our mission of helping women get their seat at the table by making these invaluable connections to board openings

4) It means that companies are serious about having people sit at the table who look like their customers

5) Receiving these openings gives us a first-hand look at what types of skill-sets boards are seeking, which in-turn helps us be able to provide invaluable intel to our members

All of this helps us help you. Along with these board seat openings, our networking process and our Matchmaking Program, we have 20% of our members who are serving on boards since working with us.  Twenty-percent may seem like it is on the smaller side but keep in mind the average time it takes to get this top job is being reported anywhere from 3 to 5 years. And for those people doing the work that it takes to get there, we have seen it taking significant less time.

If you are ready to start working towards your goal, whether that is to get an additional seat at the table or your first, we have a celebratory $100 off any level of our VIP Membership
until 11:59 PM ET on Sunday, May 29th.

CYNTHIA HARDY YOUNG

Join us for VIP Member Cynthia Hardy Young’ s June 7th webinar on talent as your organization’s number one investment .  In a recent white paper (attached below), Cynthia discussed how to engage employees so they know you’re investing in them.  She wrote, “[E]mployees are at the heart of transformation. Without employee engagement in the transformation process, it likely will fail. Sustainable change requires that you have engaged employees who believe that their contribution matters, are empowered to make decisions, and see themselves as catalysts for success."
